So... dsp gave me a load that will easily take 43 driving hrs + fuel stops + daily pre trips to be delivered next Wed morning... And I have only 39:57 from my 70 and gaining hrs on Tuesday... And this truck doesn't go faster than 65 mph... except when going down...
But not a problem...
Will call broker tomorrow and will tell them when I can be there... Possibly on Wed in the afternoon... after my reset... and will confirm that on Tuesday...
Receiver is very strict about appt and protocols... -
I hear you man... Unfortunately there seem to be more and more of those out there nowadays...
Sorry your day wasn't very good today... But hey, at the end of the day, you are OK, the truck too... That's a reason to be thankful...
I wish you a much better day tomorrow...

Rocks Thanks this. -
In the real world (not trucking!) people are glad it's Friday.
I have mixed feelings.
So much needs doing. So little time/money to do what needs doing,
Carry on.Rocks Thanks this. -

So first off I went to Conroe to get two pallets 400# that you can barely tie down (fragile and crushable) and took them to SDV.
Picked up a 205# crate for Cargolux from SDV.
Picked up a 314# Hazmat crate at Murphy for Air France where I am now waiting for the paperwork to be done. -
Nah but maybe hand strain from counting out what he jus paid me--since that whole load was his and I covered for 2 of his local guys by making the drops for him..plus the 6pallets back to PA at $50 per--LOL
