Well, left at 1:30am, loaded at Chanute, delivered dust to Perkins, the bounced back to far NE corner of OK, loaded sand and hauled that to Olathe. Had just enough time to make it to Ottawa. Here I sit, at the Loves T/S, just a mere 27.5 miles from my house. I've been here since 3:15 pm. Wife was going to bring granddaughter up here, but I said no. Why??? Because I took a nap yesterday, woke up at 4 pm,and been awake since then. I did manage to snooze for a couple of hours, but I'm still tired.

 

I rolled in here at home at 18:45..... after all of three deliveries today.

1579# SDV to some airline
2200# Deep Down to Sullivan Wire and Rope
1098# SDV to Integrated Air Service

ALMOST went to Katy for 369# but it got cancelled
Almost got 1600# for Air France but it got pushed to the AM.

Stopped at AT&T store on the way home. It was a madhouse and didn't get to ask any questions. I have never liked my Samsung Galaxy S as much as the Motorola I lost.
But it would probably make the most sense to get a Galaxy SIII to keep things simple......

then rushed some more to Wichita get rid of this beer in the morning
used 11 hours on 3 and 4

thank god I got my break in

 

IMO Giggles doesn't talk funny. She talks fast... but I can understand almost everything she says if I keep paying close attention...

 

WOW Pete... showered, snacked and washed the truck in almost one hr, huh? Were you trying to beat any record? Congratulations on going thru the first day of new HOS without any difficulty... right? and no violation. I really wish all your days will be like that. As for me, I am not on the road yet... and not happy about going back under these new regulations...

 

I'll bet it's a cute accent. My daughter-in-law is from Venezuela, so she has a delightful accent.

But Kansasian's have an accent to all of us!
