Use the 8/2 split to your advantage. Spend 8 hours in the sleeper, get your available hours back. Drive until you need to log the 2-split to finish the sleeper break. That counts for a pesky 30-minute milk 'n cookies (MRB) break. You now have 14 - driving hours since the 8 - 2 hour break available to work. 8 hour driving since a MRB provision, and 11 - driving hours used available to drive.

Now... if that ain't just as clear as mud! :biggrin_25510:

I will toot my air horn next time I'm going through there!
Made it to miles city. Came through a couple of big thunderstorms , one around Sidney mt and another just before miles city. Wind and rain and lots of it!! Usual chaotic oil patch traffic coming through Minot and Williston.

Speaking of which, just pulled into my receiver to camp for the night and the truck behind me had a headlight out. So, being the all around good guy that I am, once we are parked I walk over to tell him. As I walk over to the truck, the him looks more like a her (at least the hair) so I tell him and his response is, I deliver in the morning in a very thick, strange accent.

I reply, NO, YOUR HEADLIGHT IS OUT.

    His response?

    No it's not.

Definitely a guy but my best guess is a cross-dressing Russian from near the Baltic Sea who may possibly be going through estrogen therapy.

I know where I will be in a few... in bed, under my blankets... hope to feel better tomorrow. This thing about going to bed at 4 and 6 am every morning and waking up at 8 and 9 am or so is not doing me much good... So, good night you all... :biggrin_25518:

I have a morning plan. But we all know about plans and first contact.
I now understand why I wake up groggy. I dream too much. I usually can't remember what I dream about. But all that driving/loading and everything else I do in those dreams tires me out!
