Running down to Gaffney SC later on - going to Aberdeen MD for tomorrow night.

 

The SR71 was always awesome to witness. Many evenings I got to see them launch out of Kadena..I do mean launch. They went vertical very quickly and straight up to altitude for there first of several mid-air refuels on their mission. I do miss those days.

 

Sitting behind a customer (undisclosed) in Michigan, too near to Detroit, but at least a suburb. It pays to call and ask if it is ok to park out back to unload tomorrow first thing.
Another sweet night not in a truck stop next to a KW, Pete or Carrier that run all night long. Most Freights and Vulvas are company and they don't tolerate idling. Guess I could use my membership card and go shopping in the customer warehouse prior to bedtime.

 

Must be either a Sams or a Costco!

And a lot of Volvo's are privately owned.

 

Ah, yes. Spent many a yen on BC Street...during daylight hours, of course.

Going to Monroe for tonight and then (planned, unplanned, planned) to Salt Lake City. For Monday. I wonder...if I can get it there Friday, will they take it?

I saw two woman working the resturant this afternoon.... A heavy set blonde & a short little chipmunk

I'm not the brightest star in the sky, but that sure looks like a cornfield in the middle of nowhere, Redd. What did you deliver out there?

 

Oh, I know but you don't see a lot of them idling regardless. Particularly when the weather is this mild. Yes I am from the NW club store. Just do not want to spoil a good thing by disclosing location.
