I'm sitting on a stump beside the Ocmulgee River down here in south Georgia drinking beer.

jus west of where I80 and I81 intersect in Pa, sitting at the Pilot.. i swear when they build these places they have a bet on how awkward they can make the parking and see if drivers can still get in.

That Pilot is one of about a half-dozen that I simply refuse to go into unless it is the LAST option for fuel.

I would bet that at least one other is North Little Rock.

I hate that one with a passion. There is one other I can't place but can sure see it in my mind!

    Here in Waco until tomorrow.

Well out of the shop. First a shift selector went Tango Uniform. No low range. Can't start in 6th with a load and still have a clutch. Then got drug in for a "warranty check". Got a 34 out of that one and a nice discounted night in a good hotel. Now I wait for 0400 Monday to deliver in that Windy City.:yes2557:

Actually, no...but it would be on the runner-up list!
Other Pilots I avoid are Troutville, VA; all of 'em in NJ; Charlotte, NC (our terminal is a mile away, thank God!); the one in OH at I-77 and I-70; and the little one on I-81, exit 36 in TN.

    Other to follow, I'm sure!

yeah that Pilot in charlotte sucks a big one for sure lol.....the one at the 39 right? was getting close on hours and thought i'd get in there during the daylight last week but it was too small and in the wrong part of town even for that lol.....what a joke that place is....

if not for the elog could have made it home but had to settle for the rest area at the 59 instead......just 45 miles short of the house and have to take a 10 lol

luckily i'm at home on a 34 until 10pm tonight and then it's off to michigan

i don't know what your terminal is like, but all of ours seem to be mini race tracks. it seems like the female drivers are the most notorious for hitting 7th and bending corners like they're on fire.. i know they don't be racing to get the last empty cause there's never any empties on the yards, only relays. i personally make it my duty to stop in front of the lounge, walk in to transflo my paperwork and then get in my truck to find a parking spot. i dont wanna take any chances walking across the parking lot and getting taken out by Rusty W. little sister.

    groundpounder Thanks this.
