They can only hope to make suggestions or requests.
Throw the curve ball right back.
If I say I will not do that because it would leave me in no mans land with no place to park, what could they do?Just passing by and Opus Thank this. -
Charlotte doesn't even have parking during the middle of the day. I used to deliver to a customer by the Love's at 485 and 85, and it's difficult to even drive down that street because of all the trucks.

Churches usually have light weight asphalt so a big rig will destroy it as soon as water freezes in the little cracks caused by a heavy vehicle.

Super Desperate: Behind small shopping centers
Rural: Ramp with no signs; RI, ME, MA and the like you'll never find one
0730-1430: Truck stops and rest areas
1431-0700 sometimes: Rest areas in low volume freight routes
Super Rare: Walmart; mostly in AL and AR and some of TN. Because litter bugs it's basically non existent since the covid driver boom
NC: 321 has a truck stop that has parking no matter the hour; dirt lot on Startown Rd. Lot's of no-signs ramps right outside the 485 belt. Lots of nightly and monthly paid spots too.
I live in NC and just rent a spot for cheap. I use to use the 321 truck stop before covid drivers. Local covid drivers kind of trashed it up, and the diner keeps it crowded too
Inside the 485 belt has the Atlanta problem... Free spots are dropped equipment and third-world micro fleet garages...
Once all the covid authorities leave it'll get way better... Gotta drive rates down a bit longer to get rid of the people who don't care about the industry or the life...Last edited: May 5, 2023

A lot of Motels have truck parking
some waffle houses have parking
google satellite is very helpful finding those spots -
There’s an exit ramp near me , in Atlanta , on 285, that drivers use as a storage lot .
I drive by it twice a day , and same trucks are parked there ,
It’s full at night of OTR drivers but during the day I notice the same rigs there .
this ramp is in a weird location in a nice part of town , that’s not in the city limits of any town , so the county cops or state cops would have to care , and they apparently don’t .
