Let us know how it goes. The problem i was having with maglites is that the batteries would get stuck inside. So now i just get cheap lights and replace them when they burn out.

I pulled into a Dusty parking lot in California one time...no other trucks in the parking lot, I dodged the big old chunk of iron.when I got out of my truck to go into the truck stop I realized the chunk of iron was actually a Maglite that have been run over several times...dusted It Off and it still worked...I can't imagine what the OP did to break his

I think that's it, looks the same. Lasts forever on an AA, not much larger than a pocket knife, bright, and the zoom narrows the beam when I need to look deep in the engine compartment. been meaning to buy half a dozen more and keep them around.

I bought one of these last winter. All aluminum body and charges from a USB port. It may be small but it sure can throw out a lot of light.Mike2633 Thanks this. -

I have an older streamlight looks alot like that but uses aa batteries. Very bright for a compact light.
