austinmike, Lepton1, tramm01 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I got lucky. All the one that I had in my truck chewed was some of the upholstery. He didnt get into wiring, despite making his best in my dashboard.
I tried 2 different live traps, then glue traps and finally a new take on the regular mousetrap. He tripped that one, and I found him knocked out. I grabbed him, but he woke up and escaped. Stupid ignition is on the left of the steering wheel, but the switch for the window is in the center of the dash. I saw no signs of him after that, until I was cleaning and found his mummified body.
I'm not worried about others. He got in through the shifter boot, which was ripped. I replaced that.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Well guess what none of my traps were set no sign of rat! Wtf the other night I seen it had an altercation with it as in I smashed my microwave glass trying to scare it is it possible it left??? During the little fight we had? I also got one of those sonic electric deterants maybe that scared it away?

And you better hunt for the nest — it will get interesting if they hatch out.
