    Every time I pass by truck dealers in my state I write down their numbers or Google map search them when I get time. Those guys by the highways might have something worth getting more info on. But don't let them do the talking. If you walk in there not knowing s#$t then you're gonna end up buying s#%t .

    Used trucks ? Can you say "crap shoot" ? Most used trucks get sold with minimal get ready, then have a 30 day "warranty". So if the buyer has a problem with-in that period, they fix it. That's easier than going completely thru the engine prior to selling it. Obvious things like worn tires, leaks get fixed.
