Thanks guys.
And I originally planned on reefer but decided the longer I distract myself from tanker, the longer I get away from doing it at all lol.
Maverick flatbed reached out today too but while driving. Just to get me elsewhere meanwhile.
I've seen the food city ad for about a week now. Still debating it too depending what maverick says. God, I just want into tanker so badly tho I cant land on a decision. Lol
@haz-matguru. Ya sadly nothing. Literally anything tanker period at this point id sell my soul to join. (No dirt in my background lol) -
Food city stores are a pain in the bum.
Gas and diesel drops are on different zip codes, you either move the truck or double hose them to cover the gap.
I definitely wouldn’t do it for that pay scale.OrangeBox Thanks this. -
I understand that, but this job is delivering groceries.
Like this , but with Food City logo on the trucks.

All grocery stores are a PITA. The village idiots work there.

Suggestion: learn tankers on non-hazardous freight.
Then move up to hazmat later -- if that is still what you want.

Go to the oil field. Maybe that would work.

Not sure how far your willing to drive. But you should be able to find something in Johnson City or even a home weekly gig out of Knoxville. Some cryo companies will let your run a cylinder truck in class B and or Class A set up. So you can check into indeed and see whats put there. Also some small welding and some small concrete companies have tanker positions. So don't give up, keep searching and applying until you find your liking. Or close to it.OrangeBox Thanks this.
