I got Jarrell PFJ, Circle K, 711 Pflugerville, and some bbq joint.
But maybe I have a different version

I always loved to stop behind the McDonald's on Ben White blvd when I had a bunch of Austin deliveries, room for a few trucks there and is easy to get out of in the morning as long as you are heading south on 35 there.

No, you have it right. These places are zoos and you had better get there early.

That's pretty much everywhere anymore. After 1800, you're taking a chance

Driver managers in past always wonder why I shut down at certain times like yup I don't deal with trucks stops at night only early mornings as I leave. I don't take part in the zoo parking at night.

The city layout is so God awful thats why it sucks. Its an interesting city, but would never wish it on a driver.

Id definitely stay north of Austin and just leave earlier.

Fortunately for the OP Friday traffic isnt quite as bad. Still a mess, but a lot of Austinites never make it into work on Fridays.

I live here myself. Very strange place. With traffic for the Memorial Day Weekend coming on, I thought it might be best to get an early start and not have to worry about a place to stay the night. I35 has been cursed for a few weeks now. Between the crashes on 35 and the homeless getting killed trying to beat traffic across the interstate, it should be first on your stay-away list.

Take the first parking spot you can find.
Then leave out early enough to make your delivery.
