I always loved to stop behind the McDonald's on Ben White blvd when I had a bunch of Austin deliveries, room for a few trucks there and is easy to get out of in the morning as long as you are heading south on 35 there.

Sry I didn't see your post earlier but I would have gave you a address to park in Austin . I'm out of Austin and very hard to find parking , born and raised so I no a few good spots . Good luck.

Id definitely stay north of Austin and just leave earlier.
Fortunately for the OP Friday traffic isnt quite as bad. Still a mess, but a lot of Austinites never make it into work on Fridays.spindrift Thanks this. -
I live here myself. Very strange place. With traffic for the Memorial Day Weekend coming on, I thought it might be best to get an early start and not have to worry about a place to stay the night. I35 has been cursed for a few weeks now. Between the crashes on 35 and the homeless getting killed trying to beat traffic across the interstate, it should be first on your stay-away list.

Take the first parking spot you can find.
Then leave out early enough to make your delivery.
