I had fun today. I uploaded resin near Altoona pa . So I head to the tank wash in Corrapolis on 376. Mistake there is a tunnel and I'm hazmat. So I get route 8 and go up to 76 to 79 to an island to a bridge and the Quala . Route 8 in Pittsburgh isn't terrible , low bridges, 45 foot trailer limit, swing into the other lane to hit ramps. At least I was empty.

Next time 22 to 422 to 79 then quala.

Well today I left Latrobe pa. I went us 30, I'll never do that again. I probably put a months wear on my truck engine in 2 hours. I 76 is real exspensive and I didn't want to take it. Next time I will. I average 3.2 mpg up and down hills. Smh. I dis like Pennsylvania.

Ooh that reminds me of a load I picked up one time in Towanda, PA. I took US-6 from Scranton and went back the same way. Up and down, round the curves, 35 and 45 mph speed limits. I thought, they actually have the nads to call this a United States Highway!? They haven't updated it since 1836 or so.

I stick to the main roads in PA. Of course, it's easier since I don't pay the tolls, but I'm still mindful of my employer's wallet. But not in PA. Taking the toll road if that's the shortest way.
