    Can't see how that would be financially sensible for the driver.
    Basically out 180 days a year, at an even unlikely average of 550 miles a day, and 55 cents a mile would only gross approx $54,000/yr.
    Take out an average 22% taxes would bring home $42,120.
    Not exactly a top earning job. Having a week off every other week and can't afford to do anything but sit home a twiddle your thumbs.
    A local job, home daily would make more sense to me.

    Some local companies around my location that run trucks 7 days a week, have went to the 6 and 3 schedule or 4 and 2 schedule. (Gas haulers / Crude oil haulers).
