Which ELD did you go with

I've got the Garmin...haven't taken it out of the box yet though. Supposed to synch with my GPS, store all data locally, and manage data transfers via USB or Bluetooth. We'll see how it works if I need to put it in, but I plan on hanging onto the local exemption as much as possible.

Cord is routed behind dash and all ready to connect. It will be connected probably Dec 16 or 17. I will be home then. Ready to use it but have a very small hope for an executive order to delay it at the 11th hour. I have looked at the online dashboard and have my accounts and all that setup. I just don't want to change.

 

I went with Big Road, low cost and easy to use. I Bluetooth connect to my Tab and run my logs from there.
For those who haven't started yet, there is a little bit of a learning curve with these systems. It was pretty frustrating when I first started but now I'm used to it. Don't wait for the last minute or you may be sorry.

 

I have a huge supply of coloring books I am going to put on the market now that we have lost all hope, minus well go all the way in pissing off the regulators. Along with that I have cracker Jacks that has a prize cdl as the prize inside, why go half way when you can go full on.

 

Question.
If your eld breaks, legitimately, and you are running the 8 days on paper, can you go back into the eld and input the hours worked into the eld system?
