Yes I agree I need to get better at trip planning to avoid that situation entirely. I have yet to have a shipper I can park at and receiving is hit or miss but I’ve done it a few times. I guess you’re right about the short days sometimes. That’s good advice.

 

I’ve taken a 30 minute but never stayed longer than that on a ramp. But I see lots of trucks on ramps every night. They’re definitely taking an 10. Only certain areas tho.

I am using trucker path and I paid for the upgrade. I really like the parking prediction charts.

 

That’s my issue, doing OTR and pretty much every where I go it’s my first time there. Challenging
