Look at the egr cooler, if it’s Silver it’s been replaced. The egr valves were issues on some of those year, injector cups too.

I like the n14 they are good and cheaper to repair if you go with a Volvo find a d12. We have relatives that own Volvo dealerships. D12 are pretty indestructible if you take care of them. Egrs are a weak point on all volvos. The d13 are not as dependable. I was talked into a Volvo years ago. They are ok ran it to 1mill. Egr and wire harness was pretty much what I did to it. i just did not care for the looks or the ride.

How about another option: Lulz
N14 you can’t go wrong with. 1 million plus engines. Seriously tho if you got to make this list then you don’t have much business owning a truck.
Sorry.RSB34, ZVar and Cattleman84 Thank this. -

Look at the 1999 to 2001 Volvos with N14 or S60. Make sure its White and stock up on flip flops and Adidas jump suits.
It's great to dream/plan but you really need more experience. You just don't have a clue right now what it takes to own one of these trucks and make money.RSB34, SixShooterTransport and Vampee Thank this.
