    Get the cow in the squeeze chute, tie one rear leg back and give us a call so we can watch.

    Back on topic...after the bruises and contusions heal up you can go back to work and keep paying for that house.

    5 houses. All were paid off about 5-7 years ago. We sold 2 this year and banked the $. 2017 F150 is paid off.

    No debt now, truck and trailers paid off, just sold one - banked the $.

    All trucking money, but we were pretty focused on the end goal.

    I have some money stashed for a down payment, I can’t find anywhere I want to buy though. We love the house we rent and the land it’s on, so I’m staying out until I can afford to build something I want or find the perfect place. I can rent where I am now forever and be content honestly. Would be nice to own a place tho. If I was smarter with my finances at a younger age, and didn’t love old trucks I’d be way further ahead in life financially right now. Can’t live with regrets though.

    I bought two.
    Sold first to buy second.
    Gave it to the ex in a settlement agreement.
    Was paid off and valued at 250K.
    Rent now till retirement then we will build in the Black Hills.

    I built a house, paid off 20 acres of and paid off $40,000 in school loans in just over ten years otr. Mind you, I drove team with my wife but still...

    15 year mortgages are the bomb. It's amazing how quickly you see equity in your home...just amazing.
