Looking for some people that haul asphalt with a triaxle, looking to see how many people in here do it. And see what they think the upcoming season is going to be like, and if they think the new administration is going to affect the season and future season. I DO NOT want this to turn political at all, so let’s keep it that way please

You just asked a politically based question, looking for a politically based answer, and "DO NOT" want the thread to become political???? I'm confused on how to answer your question then.

Good luck, those drivers have those contracts for years. You talking O/O? Because, that's even harder to get into. Might find a company job hauling schluck.

I do it as a company driver when gas/lp is slow. Season? We don’t stop hauling it.

I’ve done plenty of it, never again hopefully

it’s easy on the truck but everyone and their brother thinks they will go out and buy a dump truck and “oH iLl Be HoMe EvErYnIgHt” and cut everyone’s throat just to get the work

Around here it’s the paving company will rent trucks for x per hour I don’t see how they can cut rates to get work? It doesn’t seem all that bad but not sure I’d want to do, was just curious to see how many people do it

No contract? What's stopping someone from approaching the paving company and offering their services for $10/hour less just to get work?

I’m not sure but I don’t see why anyone would do that. They paving companies don’t own any trucks they just rent them, I’m sure they have more than enough work to go around
