Its a interesting story. I do not believe this was a isolated incident there must have been events from the past not being brought forward. As far as a robbery tough break poor to hear about that. The company may however have some liability for leaving you in a potentially unsafe situation. This sounds like a May Trucking practice. I have seen them do similar to drivers as far as sending them to bus stations. Any how when one door closes a new better opportunity opens. Chin up mate, Good luck.
Who NOT to cut off....

Back in the 80's when I rode with my father, we had some guy that kept trying to pass us in a 4-wheeler and we kept speeding up so he couldn't get in since he was driving like an A@#. Long story short...when we got to the scales in a few miles, guess who was a DOT employeee! Talk about a long, detailed inspection. Good thing we were squared away that day.... You just never know who is in that other vehicle...........

OH WHAT I WOULD have paid to be in your position .....
No really that would have made my day right there.
Most cops you see in their personal vehicles are generally pretty cautious in their driving and generally follow "the rules"

I know of several that have had to be reprimanded. -

The best complaint ever to come in to the last company I drove for, was from an elderly woman. She said our driver was doing 90 miles per hour, and should lose his job for speeding.
The boss was just as nice as could be, he explained to the lady that our trucks were fixed, and could not go that fast.
She responded, "well, if he wasn't doing 90, then he was doing every bit of 85!"
He then told her that our trucks would not go that fast, either.
The rest of the phone call was the same, she would drop it in 5 mile per hour increments until she hit 70. After the boss said our trucks would not even go 70 mph, she told him that our driver could not stay in his lane and was running people off the road.
So, some people will call in and make up bad stories just because they can't get around a big truck. That was the only reasoning we could come up with, as to why she would want to get a driver in trouble.
Either that, or your ex is trying to get back at you. Or you got the last bag of doritos, and another driver is mad enough to get you in trouble.Pumpkin Oval Head Thanks this. -
Falcon,
You have the worst luck ever. It can only get better. -
I would say the guy who cut off Sean Hannity one day in Long Island ...
I remember the hour long diatribe against truckers that show. -
You know this post is about a billion years old!
