    The back end expands to 10ft wide. There’s room to get at the inner tires when it’s expanded.

    I've seen speead RGNs out west a time or two, some even had small tool boxes between the tanems. I don't know for sure that I have ever seen them east of the rockies though

    You’re not in violation of bridge law (most likely anyway), you’re now in violation of the kingpin to rear axle regulations. They are different, even though most drivers will argue that point.

    That depends on the state, or maybe even the officer. We just had a lady get popped for 85k in Washington and they let her go with just an axle weight ticket once she spread her trailer axles.

    Those trailers are pretty common in the aviation world. You can haul a much bigger engine on the rear deck over a 10’ spread axle vs a 8’ deck that over most tandems.

    Swift & Knight back in the early 2000's had some Texas Walmart Dedicated 59 foot long / 14-foot height high cube trailers. Always had plenty of damage on these trailers.
