Why are there so many trucking companies in West Memphis Arkansas? (Not trolling.)

Navy Personnel is also located north of there.

 

I spent enough time there downtown and south of there at night usually with a KaBar mini in a boot. There were times Ive thanked the previous NE cities for the experience... But these people there in Memphis are almost unhuman in their instincts on preying upon a fat dumb and happy trucker like me pouring cappicino... ugh.

 

Ive always hoped they have a bunch of LCAC's air cushion on hand to ferry trucks to the east bank if the bridges did drop in a quake. You can put maybe 2 or 4 trucks on one.. Unsure of it's length.
