Walmart gets more government subsidies than several states last i heard. GE pays no corporate income tax/

I get the flavor you are getting/ I think in general, big business ####s more people (in this country and others) than it helps by a wide margin.

Small businesses might cheat on their taxes, big businesses might write the laws so that they don’t have to pay.

Was an economist research on a tax loophole in florida that was assumed that rich people "cheated" by using more than poor people even though it was literally available to everyone. what they found was that when offered the information that it was a valid (credit deduction something, dont remember the specifics) 100 % of people regardless of economic status, biz owner down to working stiff used the provision to pay less taxes.

The takeaway here isnt that big buisness is inherently evil or uniquely interested in avoiding taxes, but they have people whose job is to literally find every way to pay as little as possible, bob your neighbor just doesnt have that access to information.

(And yes at a certain scale, writing the laws in your economic favor is its own problem)

You don’t know if they will drop the rate because you just got them to increase it a couple weeks ago. You let them slide for well over a year paying less than you could’ve gotten if you were doing something different. All I’m saying is for your sake I hope they show that same loyalty to you and don’t start telling you it’s slow and they don’t have loads available all the while putting them on the board and getting them moved for less than your current rate.

That's where you're wrong. In places like Baltimore, they brag about it and are proud to collect whatever the government will give them. People certainly should sell their possessions to pay their bills instead of expecting society to pay it for them by force taken from the taxpayers. The taxpayers are the victims since they have zero say about where the money is spent. Socialism only works when it's extremely localized and community controlled.

The fact you think these drug dealing, raping, murdering, car jacking, gun toting losers are victims is hilarious. The real victim is the tax payer who has to pay (by force of the government) for these degenerates to exist and steal from you or kill/rape your family. I would love for you to leave your nice neighborhood and go live in downtown Baltimore, DC, Chicago, Detroit, Memphis or Little Rock and then tell us who the "victims" are.

Not trying to give you a hard time here but you're being naive just like I used to be until I wised up and experienced this abuse first hand. Leave your safe habitat for the concrete jungle and you'll get a nice dose of reality.

I have suffered from depression most my life. Key is to keep busy and not sit around feeling sorry for yourself waiting for others to take care of you. I have no problem calling people out that do not need help. At the same time I will never look down on someone that really needs help.

I feel a lot people do not understand how the rich reinvest into the businesses and use that as tax write offs. They tend to think they are cheating because they did not pay for every penny made. Just amazing how stupid some people are. Had a good friend say stuff about someone I know who ran a business. thought he was cheating on taxes and was found not guilty but he was one of the ones spreading lies about the man. No longer a friend with me because of the stupid.

Two customers won't drop. I don't think they will. They are actually asking me if we can cover more days for them even with the rates down now. They could get someone else to do it for less with no problem.
With the shipper, I'm not 100% sure but it would seem strange they would do that after agreeing to the new rate recently as you said. Hopefully, by the time the rates are up, I can stand my ground or leave.

I'm sorry we might not see eye to eye. But we are describing different scenarios here. You are stereotyping here. People who use stamps are not all criminals.
People shouldn't sell their homes, cars getting them to work, etc. That is why when people who file bankruptcies can hold to those things. You don't want people on the streets creating a bigger issue with homelessness.

You can't separate whole families with kids. You don't want them to be on the street. The best scenario is getting people off the government help. By taking everything away from them, you are taking their means to survive to actually get better, like cars getting parents to work.

Don't assume that people who are using money from the government are all criminals. Many families leave in poverty. Take a single mother with kids, no father. Take a family whose spouse is disabled. A diabled person isn't a loser. While some can support the whole family with one person working, many families need two spouses to work to pay for everything, living one paycheck to paycheck. That's reality. If something happens to one spouse, the financial situation can change with no warning. We shouldn't judge. There are others who struggle to pull out for whatever reasons.
Middle class suffers the most paying for most things. That is hurting because our lower middle class keeps just above the water. I was angry too at people who get things for free.

There is really no help for disabled people in the USA. You need to wait 12 months to claim any money, a couple hundred per month. In the meantime, you are not getting anything. Or one needs to submit parental rights to the government if accepting any cash assistance from the government. I don't think anyone would want to do that.
People are only able to collect food stamps. I don't judge when this program is used for people who are meant to receive it.
