    For sake of this exersise:

Time saved every 10 miles by going:
    (speed)/XXX.XXXXX (Time saved)
    65 instead of 55 /XXX.027972 (1:41 )
    75 instead of 65 /XXX.020513 (1:14 )
    75 instead of 55 /XXX.048485 (2:55)

Miles| MPH| Time (in hrs) /Time (in mins & secs)
    10 |55| /XXX.181818 / (10:55)
    10 |65| /XXX.153846 / (9:14)
    10 |70| /XXX.142857 / (8:34)
    10 |75| /XXX.133333 / (8:00)

Distance traveled in 25 minutes at 75 miles per hour:
    30 miles.

You sped, for 10 hours, risking
    Possible Tickets.
    Less Reaction time.
    Gas burned by speeding.
    Possible loss of licence.
    Death of yourself
    Death of others
    Damage to your equipment

ASSUMING that you were able to maintain 75 for that whopping 10 hours solid...without traffic, potty, food, or gas.

I will happily go the limit, and you can risk all that yourself.

    75mph for 10 hrs = 750 miles.
    62mph for 10 hrs = 620 miles.
Diff = 130 miles further at 75 mph than at 62 mph during the 10 hrs.
However, you are correct about the safety issue, tickets and fuel mileage...

Also, supertrucker drove the same 620 miles that took governed driver 10 hrs, in 8.26 hrs.

    Everett Thanks this.

It's not considered speeding when the limit is 75.

I'll just go the posted legal speed limit without tailgating. Works for me.

The point I see is your math is way off, and you like Swift, or Schneider, whichever the case may be.
