Can someone please explain this to me? I do not understand the logic. And well were on the topic of loves, can we start a petition to get them to stop saying "welcome to loves" every time someone walks through the door. Those poor employees.
Why does loves sell midevil combat armor?

I imagine an executive was roaming a flea market one day and got a good deal on the medieval gear and thought it would be a great way to fill up the shelving in the stores as well. To be fair, I asked at a couple places and they say the stuff sells pretty rapidly. Even saw a couple drivers out back with the head gear and swords swinging lol

Back in the day, you could find some pretty cool stuff in truck stops, from clothing to trinkets. Love's has some interesting items at times. I bought the grandkids those NASCAR jackets for Christmas one year. And I don't mind being greeted at the door, beats the usual bad attitude at some outfits, TA comes to mind.
SixShooterTransport, 417bigK and 06driver Thank this. -
I got a better one for you. Who else besides truck stops have Mail in Rebates?
It's like so 1980. Smart phones. Internet who in the world does a mail in rebate besides truck stopsDTP and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
Rare to see a mailbox at a truck stop anymore, at least where I run.

Ran out of memory on my SD card, for a video, but managed to capture this.

They should sell armor for cats and dogs.

The people that have figured out that in this age of smart phones and internet, filling out the rebate and mailing it in just takes too much effort. They get your interest with the low price, sell it to you for full price, and then count on you to not follow through on the rebate.
Pretty smart, I think. No false advertising, no bait and switch, just the assurance that the average person will be too lazy to follow through.rolls canardly and JC1971 Thank this. -
They should sell the armor on the ###. For some of those hard riding trucks. he he he. //snarky.
If anyone wants to don a suit of metal and then poach inside in the hot sun, have at it.
