    I thought they had moved to Tennessee by then. That Les Paul also doesn't match the year unless it was just an old one they had laying around. Tail piece is way older than that and as far as I know they weren't into reissue guitars in the mid 70's because they were Gibson's worst years if you ask any guy that's into Gibson's. Tho I have a 78 LP custom I've had since I was a kid and I don't think it's bad at all

    I tested its Z brother and I'm still thinking about it almost a week later. I dont care for the color, but the sound was excellent. If it hadn't been typical guitar center dirty and banged up, I would have bought it then and there.

    Sad to see such a trusted brand name go to crap. But many sure have in the past 30 years such as Chevy, and all of GM. When others like Toyota seem relentless on quality as first priority. Not trying to make this a auto thread. Just my general input.

    They could be back to good again. They have been in the ####ter before. My 78 is a Norlin era which are considered the worst of all time but I think it is a better player than the ones they have made in the past five years tho

    You can never find a Dean in a store anywhere around here which is weird because Dean is headquartered in Tampa. I had to buy this one sight unseen but if it's anything like my Washburn ml I will love it.

    I went to a few local guitar centers and Sam Ash stores looking for something different and everything on the wall is beat to ####. I know it happens but if I'm paying full retail for something I wanna be the one to beat it up.
