Sure I know it would be small, but seems like all the other “niches” have a spot of their own.
    (Just curious)

I asked the same thing about yard jockeys, and was told it falls under local. They will probably tell you it falls under tanker or what not.

I asked the same thing about livestock hauling and was told that there really weren't enough threads specific to agriculture, logging, or household moving (bedbugging) to justify creating and maintaining subforums for them. But regarding cryo, there's a fair amount of cryo talk going on in the tanker subforum.

It's an important part of the trucking business, but admittedly, a very small niche that doesn't actually get a lot of discussion here. In fact, you asked a similar question a year ago and it never even went to the second page:

    Where’s the cryo talk? .......

Just a quick search of thread titles shows that there have only been three more threads created on cryo since that time, including this one. So, in the last year, there have been four threads created on cryo, with two of them being yours asking about cryo discussion.

Based on that, I'm just not seeing a need for a forum to discuss it. Keep in mind that creating the forum doesn't create the discussion. We only create new forums to organize existing discussions.

We'll continue to watch it, though. Keep one of the cryo threads going with active discussions that would require more organizing into topics, and then we'll look at it again. It can either be this thread, or your other older thread, or you can create a different thread with daily discussion from cryo drivers checking in and we'll see where it goes.

Because the cryo drivers are too busy working.........

And cryo is the best kept secret in the tanker world, and no one wants to spill the beans.

    We can't hire anyone..
We would put 4 or 5 on if we could find qualified drivers but even though they start well north of 100K you have to pay your dues before you get a good shift or days off.

    snowman1980 and homeskillet Thank this.
