Tell me about it. Between insurance ($10,400/year) and child support and taxes.

I think he meant $2100-$4100 a week which is more realistic for an owner operator leased on.

    numerius Thanks this.

Insurance is $172/week. Child support is $120/week. Taxes are $200-250/week.

And every single one of those would still be there as an owner operator. And none would come out of your settlement.check. Plus add in a truck payment and maintenance.

numerius, fortycalglock and mattbnr Thank this.

I used to live in River North. Now I'm on the West side.

Thanks everyone! This really helps. I'll talk to a few of my industry buddies and will make up my mind on what I want to do -- lease on or get my own truck.

1200-1400 a week may not be good money for most o/o it's great money for me... little about myself, I will be retiring in the next few months at 51 yrs of age. Trucking will be my next career and o/o seems to fit my lifestyle. My pension will cover my home expenses o/o
W ould be a great way supplementing my income and fulfilling a life long dream . Finally, working for Roadrunner Transportations can you earn the moneys I mentioned weekly hauling terminal to terminal freight after o/o expenses? Thanks for your responds & God bless you all.....
