Why trailers almost always have auto inflate on tires, but trucks almost never do?

Yes they are, I like a good looking truck and trailer shiny and waxed and polished and mechanically sound. Ain’t cheap looking cool on the stool

They suck if you have to toss chains regularly.

A modern TPMS works well in lieu of a calibrated gauge, we use both.

I see several fleets running the Halo on drive axles. I think they make them for trailers as well. For those without inflation systems on trailers

The old saying was a low tire is a flat tire , now your lucky if it's even got a carcass or rim.

I have one that does the same, couple possible things to check, and the darn TA's won't: loose valve core, failing valve core, if you have the quick inflator caps on your valve stems, they go bad over time, or simply the valve stem. I just had a trailer tire that went flat over night, aired it up on Monday at 2, Tuesday at 3 am it was flat. Boss came in and swapped it out, later in the day he told me the valve core itself was bad, it wasn't seated properly, he removed it, replaced it, tire was fine

    Why don’t trucks have it?

because it is very expensive to have.
