Made me work, Valley Transportation DOT no longer "in use" and GAL has a CSA of straight alerts. Driver Safety 72.8--Alert, HOS 85%--Alert, Driver Fitness 85.5%--Alert, Vehicle Maintenance 84.9%--Alert. Why were you working for this terrible company?
Great American Lines took the hit. Says you weren't cited. "Citation Issued: No" It was dark, dry, no adverse conditions. What's that all about? I bet this lousy company contributed directly or indirectly. How? Inquiring minds want to know, Jay. Don't work for Great American Lines, folks.
Thx, Jay. Poster child for why to avoid carriers with terrible CSA score. Can be career-ending. You're a yard hostler now, Jay.
Will anyone hire me with an accident?

Try craigslist in your area... A lot of smaller companies don't check DAC or stuff like that... You just gotta bite the bullet and if someone hires you put up with it for a year or two and then you should be good to get a better job in a couple years... A lot of smaller companies in Craigslist will probabaly run you better then most BIG name companies but on a 10-99 with no benefits but at the same time they probably will pay a better per mile... at the same time they more than likely don't offer any insurance or anything... For insurance you cant look any google and find insurance for yourself probably cheaper then a combined company plan...

Have a friend who turned over a rear pup while working for a company out of Utah - just the rear pup, not the 48 and truck. He had trouble getting hired other places for 3 years. Once the 3 years had passed it was easier - I'm guessing this is an insurance thing.
As pattyj said, just keep applying - and in person if you can. It might take you a while but if you're sincere and upfront you'll find one eventually.Victor_V Thanks this. -

sometime a accident would not be on your MVR. you need to find out what your CSA score is. that may be the reason you are having difficulty getting hired besides the accident. companies look at what type of accident. your CSA score may be too high for a new hire even if you have experience. like been said you may have to wait out the 3 years to when your CSA score recover from accident. then you got to look at if you were terminated(dismissed) after accident trucking companies will disqualify you for employment. then if you were terminated the potential employer may call previous company to find out details of you separation from that company. I was terminated(dismissed, separated) from swift because I had house fire. they give me a month off but fired me in the process. came home in oct fired in nov I didn't find another job until april of following year. I applied every where llike you did. try the company that hired me star transport out of Morton, il the red star.
