I am beginer when it comes to wiring so i need some advice from someone who knows
I have a Cascadia 2011 and they told me wiring additional marker lights on the current marker lights would cause electronic problem in the circuit,it have to be wired to a new switch.
Do anybody knows what is the best way?

11 in the visor.
11 in the air headache rack (5 clearance 6 brake/turn/tail)
39 right there
Each side also has
3 in the air cleaner
3 in the hood in front of the step
3 under the door
6 under the sleeper.
Thars another 30.
Now add
6 more with the Turn signal on fender, mirror bracket and rear corner of sleeper.
2 brake/turn/tail at rear of truck plus 1 back up light
Total of 78 before I hook to my trailer.
When i add the new mud flap brackets and center panel it will be near 100.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
It's a bad idea to wire chicken lights to an existing mandatory light circuit. Find spare circuits, my truck has them I imagine all do. Wire circuit to on/off switch then to a relay then to light bar. You'll have to energize the spare circuit with the appropriate size fuse in the fuse block to get power.
Hope that helps.truckdriver31 and KostaN Thank this. -
Take the money and send it to St Jude. A kid with cancer is a far better warm fuzzy feeling that a trailer that airplanes want to land on... I've seen tons of lit up rigs, they are cool, but what's cooler?

Set it up on 3 circuits, one for front, one for sides, one for headache rack. On the sides I would single ground to the bracket or frame, run your short ground to the chrome, then ground from crome to bracket/frame and that will help from gribration

All the manufacturers went to ECM controlled circuits. The ECM knows how many amps each lighting circuit uses. Anything above its pre-programmed range it will treat as a short-circuit or short to ground and de-energize it. Either find an aux circuit or go old-school and wire in an aftermarket fuse/relay panel for the chicken lights.
truckdriver31 and clausland Thank this. -
On my freightliner, all the extra lights except the headache rack are on the same circuit. I tied the head ache rack into the rear lights.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Maybe like 6 7 per sidetruckdriver31 Thanks this.
