So I was a communications tech, self employed for the better part of my life. Wanting to get off the utility poles I decided to go get my cdl. I almost spent 4000 bucks on a school. But decided to check out the trucking companies that train and figured getting Paid is always better than paying.
luckily I picked prime inc. Best decision I could have chosen. About 3 weeks with a trainer and a day at the test fascility and I passed my three parts in one day. Now 30000 miiles with a second trainer and I get keys to a darn near new freightliner. I made good money while training and great money driving on my own. I need to be home for a while so after my year obligation was up I came home. I will return to prime some day and will be willing to go as far as to say its the best way to get your cdl and keep your income steady. All in all a great experience. Driving local for now and doing well.
with all the negatives I thought a breath of fresh air was due.
