Ill second that "don't stop at the Flying J in Texarkana." What a joke this place is. Snuck in there one morning about 0300 to fuel up and the trucks blocking the already to tight isles make it impossible to maneuver that place. Had to go all the way to the back row after fueling in an attempt to get out. Then when you get to the end there were two trucks two many at the ends of the isles. Had to stop and back up, ride up on a curb to avoid taking someone's hood off. Too much trouble, you need to plan ahead and avoid that dump at all costs. So glad I don't have forced fueling to contend with. There are just some truck stops you don't stop at.

Yeah, normally 3 am is an ideal time to fuel. Not at that ########.

Honestly the best place to park along 30 is the truck parking areas in Cumby, TX. Exit 113 WB and 110EB for you guys new to the industry.

That J is one of my "Never Ever Ever Again" stops. Ever. Again.

The last two times I've stopped at the Pilot on the south side of Atlanta, it hasn't been bad at all. The other one, up on the west side of 285, is right next to the above-mentioned J on the NEEA list....

The North 40 truck stop in Tennessee at the 126 on I-40 is pretty good. Never slept there but their food is great. No showers I don't think.

There's also a ummm "business of ill repute" at that exit as well, with a dirt lot that trucks can park in for the night after some entertainment. Don't ask me how I know this. It's on the north side of the highway.

Parking 40miles down the road in Jackson is a PITA - that Love's at x87 is big, but tight and always full at night, unless you want to try for a tight spot, and that Pilot is way too small anyhow.

Vanco on Charter way/ I-5 Stockton,Ca room for about 25 trucks, and you can expect a knock on the door all nite long.
Hot deli only, restroom not well maintained. Not the best part of town to park at.

Had a driver hit my trailer there and take off at the Loves. Luckily the way he hit, he took all the damage.
