Worst truck stop you have been to

Maybe not the worst but surely one of the most disappointing I've been to. I've only been driving 6 months and this is my first trip to the famous I80 truck stop. When I saw they had a Dairy Queen I thought great I love there cheese burgers BUT no they only sell ICE CREAM and chilli dogs. (WTH) Then while walking around I noticed they sell Laptop mounts that mount to the passenger seat, they sell an off the wall brand and RAM to my surprise there all out of the ram brand again WTH. Woke up this morning and went in to get a shower, things went well with no wait but the showers were really out dated with culk pealing from the corners & the old metal doors on the shower.

The place is HUGE and has a lot to offer if your looking for chrome or lights, or even the option of a couple restaurants to eat from. Lucky for me I didn't go out of my way to get here and now that I know I'm sure I won't be visiting again There's way better places to spend my 34.

 

Most DQs I have found that are in truckstops don't offer the full DQ menu. Got to find a stand-alone DQ.

 

Dairy Queens in the northern part of the country are a different breed than one's in the south.

 

Yea truckstops use the DQ Express concept. Deserts and maybe a hot dog or something. Went into one up north once craving a chicken fried steak....ooops!

Down here in the south some DQ's also sell Mexican food.

 

I could use a steakfinger basket right about now.

 

TA Ontario in CA, I was stuck on the can one day there with epic runs while 2 guys got in a fist fight over someone peeing on the toilet seat. The loves in E. Houston was a hole as well, place was packed with armed security everywhere. The girl at the counter was a babe though so that made it worth it.

 

Think it\'s at 90 & 45 in ohio. Whoa, ended up with a bad bad stomach after eat there a year or so ago.

 

Fontana, Ca at one of the twin TA's. I was out front on the bobtail line. Nothing makes you feel better than security pegging you as a lot lizard while your out walking your dog. I about told the prick to go #### himself. Not every female in a truckstop is a lizard. That place is a craphole anyway.

 

I know why they drive Chevy Volts, so they can sneak up on you!
