I think it's pretty cool that you want to have your lizard with you!
KW Cajun Thanks this. -
? But they do need to thermo-regulate, reptiles dont make their own body heat so it would be tough in the winter. it was just an idea.ive never been in a truck with a sleeper, his tank would take up a good deal of space and idk what he'd make of all the motion. made for an interesting post, tho

I knew one person who had their pet lizard with them on the truck, the problems they had were the temp changes which eventually took its toll on the pet (they gave up on the idea when it got sick) and the other was they could not use a tank with glass in the truck, they broke two of them and had to replace the mattress and bedding both times because of the glass.

I considered having a snake on the truck but after some research I found that constant motion would not be good for the reptile... something to think about. If they are anything like snakes, you know how stressed they can get.

there is an intermodal driver in my area that sometimes carries his bird with him in the truck during the summer months. He takes out the passenger seat and has it bolted to a special mount. DOT in Wyoming and Utah have given him a hard time about it, so he no longer carries it.
