Would this be useful to you?

There are times I would find it useful... for example the other weekend when some friends and I were meeting up to go on a poker run... we wanted to know if a friends was on the way and about how close he was.... but he doesnt answer his phone when he is driving.. so yeah, that wojld of been nice to call and beable to tell how close he was...

I am sure there are other times it would be useful too..

but, like most.. I would want control over it..

What you are talking about already exists. It's simply a mobile tracking device. The shippers and brokers interested in this technology, are already using it
