Gonna throw this out and take it with grain of salt. Any emissions truck needs looked at very closely and of course how many hours on idle time? Anything before 2019 I would be very careful on with the emissions.

I have no problem buying a Truck with high miles. Price depends on what items have been replaced in the last year or two. You know it’s going to need all kind of little things constantly. Guaranteed the fan, waterpump, and maybe a few other things will be needed soon. The wildcard is the engine. You know better than most. I’m surprised you’re asking. You know what’s possible, and what’s inevitable. It all boils down to the price reflecting the current condition and recent maintenance. Always better to start out with new tires, brakes, clutch, engine, trans. All the expensive stuff. Even with all those things being done recently, expensive repairs can come up. Hedging your bets, paying the right price is always key. An educated guess at best, with any used vehicle.
