I gave 12k for this truck, knowing it had problems.Had 1,075k now it’s got 1,167k
Put 23k into an inframe, including AC system, oil pump and water pump.
I’ve had it two years this month, Not afraid to go anywhere with it.


Just hope this one is as good.
only ran 85k miles this year, though some are on the Freightliner.

 

I’m to the conclusion any emissions engine is going to have problems.
I had a ISX cummins that spent 8 months in and out of the shop, then bought a freightliner at the time was 3 years old.
Dd15, got rid of the cummins truck.
then the KW has s cummins cm871vs the cm2270 trouble one I had.

I just weighed in bad then thought well, If It’s less than 30, I’d roll the dice.
Sometimes it’ll win, sometimes you crap out, but you’ll never know til you step up and take a chance, I may be wrong, but the negative odds made me go for it..

 

Had to go through the hoops making this work with this weird 5/8 inch by 1/2 90 degree on air tank.
didn’t have a 90.
had to make do, had a 45 degree, then line was to short, but the adapter extended the line.
don’t know why the quick connect on there broke, but it did and the airline unlocked.

But I had a pvc cutter and a 5/8 straight quick connection.
Always helps carrying extra air fittings.

 

I didn’t see any more upfront, though they got some t600 kws that are like 07 that stays closer to terminal.
