Well that's an open question. Some driver's take it all in stride where as others let everything bother them! If you don't mind being cut off 50 times a day by someone in a 4 wheeler who just has to be in front of you or trying to find a parking spot for the night or sitting in construction traffic for hours doing .05 mph and a million other things! Then go for it.. But if this stuff bothers you then driving isn't for you.

    bzinger and tinytim Thank this.

All that is said consider....everyone handles stress differently, if your a happy go lucky type person, you may be fine....here is another thing to consider outside of all things mentioned, and that is truck breakdowns and having to go to the dealer shops, and having to wait sometimes days for it to be completed, do the motel thing, then if you have to transfer to another truck it's a pain in the butt because it's like moving a mini apartment...lol....oh and that word "WAIT" is part of the business...as the saying goes we drive to wait...every job has its challenges, it's just this one has some very unique ones...roll on drivers

All the truck drivers that you see parked along the curbs and the alongside Cat scales and any other place that does not require backing, while plenty of back-in parking is available in the middle of the day?? Those are drivers who are very stressed because they can't back worth a dam and dread any need to back in, even if it's relatively simple. Imagine living in that world.

But rather then take the more simple backing training exercises such as during slow periods at a truck stop with ample slots, they will avoid them still, and pull in somewhere and park where they should not park, for the hour or for a full break, makes no difference to these poor souls.
