I do have mild to moderate arthritis in my neck. Imagine that.

Anyway, I'm going to take the rest of the year off. I can't afford to, but, I need the rest and heal time.

Okay...I just did a quick estimate of what I made last year in 2018.

I made right at $50k. That surprised me. I have run to my ability, and Wright has accommodated me well. That was also getting home when I wanted to, and about 3 weeks off due to sickness and injury.

I put in an average of 109,000 miles from Jan 1, 2018 to Dec 31, 2018. I say average because Wright pays city to city and not actual miles. And they allow me to go out of route to Commerce, TX for home time. But, I'm not paid for those out of route miles.

The industry is getting worse, but, Wright is still a great place to work. And, the best company that I have ever worked for, bar none. I still have yet to be wronged or upset by anyone at Wright, besides a couple of the drivers.

I'm getting real sick of brokers who DEMAND that we download their tracking apps. I've already been hacked thanks to one of those apps. Had to factory reset my phone and shut down my old email account.

Anyone else have problems with these apps? Or, am I just one of the "lucky" few?

 

I told them no. They aren't happy. Frankly, I don't care. Unless I'm picking up a ultra high value load, which I doubt, I'm not installing that crap app on my phone again.

I ended up losing the load over their childish app.

I will look into the "burn phone". I happen to have an old Verizon flip phone that isn't active. I may activate it.

No worries, as there were tons of loads available that were quite happy to have my services without spyware apps.

I'm currently in East Lansing, MI at the customer awaiting to deliver in the morning. Also, waiting to see if we will get any freezing rain tonight and/or tomorrow.
