We rolled into the yard yesterday after a botched broker delivery in Gulfport. Missed the driver apprecation lunch by minutes, but should be able to get some good eats today. I think we'll get a load to the Carolinas today.

I'm at a doctor's visit this morning. I'm a test subject for an experimental OA pain reliever. I'll be back at the yard in a bit.

Well, my first negative. Not about Wright.

Yesterday, we got a late start to York, SC then pick up in Charlotte, NC headed to Pensacola, Fl. We were on I-85 N about the 12 mm. I was cruzing along making a pass. As I began my return to the right lane, I was about half way into the lane when a car appeared trying to pass me on the right. I signalled early and everything. So, I moved back left to let him by. I checked my right mirror and the car was gone. Checking my left mirror, there it was, half way up my trailer, half on and off the road. So, I checked my right mirrors again and went right as fast as I safely could. The car sped past, jammed on his brakes, and started moving as if to cut me off. Instead, he was pointing a handgun at us.

I hollered at Dawn to call 911 and manuvered to stay out of the line of fire, but in position to ram him if needed. When he noticed Dawn on the phone, he took off like the cowardly scalded rodent he was.

We stopped at a Marathon at exit 18 and met a deputy to file a report.

Shaken, to say the least, we proceeded to the Ambest at exit 147 and buttoned up and hit the bunk.

Tonight, we stopped at the TA in Commerce, GA to catch a good dinner at the Longhorn Steakhouse across the street.

We're about to settle down and get an early start around Atlanta.
