According to the State Patrol, a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia semi driven by 25-year-old Kamalpreet Singh of Elk Grove, California struck the rear of a blue 2010 Mazda 3 sedan

If you look carefully you'll also see the company and mc information was on a piece of paper stuck on to cover up another company information on the truck.
Looks like being the paper got wet you can see through it.

    It's all so insane.
Plus now off the top of my head this is now at least the 3rd Singh from California that killed people in a truck in recent months.

Forgive me, , but we don't need to mock the name of the driver, it's like them saying saying, "yep, a guy named Smith", it just happens to be a very popular Hindu name. This has nothing to do with the race of the driver, I read there are over 150,000 Hindu truck drivers, most of them in guess where? This is merely inattentive driving, regardless of race, and contributes to over 1.6 MILLION crashes each year. Why is this such a mystery? How can something that distracts someones attention while operating a vehicle, even be allowed? This is unfortunate, my kids live in L.A., and somebody is crying, for what? Your GD strawberries? This is the cost of a modern society, like it or not.

Do you realize how insane it is in a matter of months for 3 different people with same last name, from same state to kill people with a truck?

Where are all the "Smiths" from Texas running over people?

    Screenshot_20251212_082149.jpg Screenshot_20251212_082120.jpg

23× times amount of Smiths out here, why aren't they running everybody over at a 23x level?

Forgive me but the last name does matter, especially from California.
It has been well established California has been handing out CDLs to unqualified foreigners.

    I've removed that post.

I want to allow these discussions on the forum and not have to move them to politics. It's a fine line but the topic is a huge part of the industry right now. It has effected the entire industry and created so many hurdles for those trying to operate in the business of logistics . We should keep any political figures out of the discussions, but pointing out how dangerous and ridiculous it is handing CDLs to many who shouldn't be operating a 40 ton rig, shouldn't be tabu.

Never understood why people get pissy when you point out a specific group is causing issues. This is a safety issue. Its an issie with our livelyhoods, its an issue of liability. Right now, a disproportionate number of wrecks, illegal activity and flat out fraud can be attributed to three specific groups. You see it all day every day.

You see no name given wrecks and 9 times out of 10 when you go back when the info is release publicly and they are the same group of people. Insurance rates have skyrocketed, wages are going through the floor, you see moronic wrecks every #### day, hell is there anyone here who doesnt see these guys operateing these trucks in halariously unsafe manners all day every day? Sure there are whites and blacks and asians and who the hell ever else that does it too. But right now we have verifiable proof that a HUGE percentage of drivers on the road shouldnt even bloody BE HERE. That rules, laws and regulations are entirely being ignored by these groups, and that there are two sets of standards. One for those of us who try our damnest to be legal, safe, law following operators. And one for a group who give ZERO ####s about our laws and regulations. Who cant even understand basic commands from enforcment, who cant read signs who often give ZERO ####s about it.

Does that mean every #### singh or ivan or whatever is a bad driver? No. Does that mean every joe bob and smith is a GOOD driver? Also no. But there is a pattern here and it needs to be addressed. Trying to make it a political or race issue is just ignorance and willfull stupidity imo.
