Why not get the Swift drivers attention and help him out? You had plenty of time. We long for the days when drivers helped one another. This was a fail in that respect.

We will never truly know, all that's left is speculation.

Yes, I see your point, this was clearly all my fault for walking by, certainly not Swift's fault for seeing his trailer wasn't going to clear and plowed ahead anyway /sarcasm.

But seriously, any reasonable person expects a CDL holder to be competent in their job. How was I to know he would hit that trailer? Just because it says Swift on the side? No, and I did walk up to help out when I could have just walked away.

I'm just saying that first minute before he got up against the Tribe trlr would have given you enough time to get to his passenger window to get his attention to help him see the error of his ways. Your fault?? Nope not at all. I can remember when I started driving, others would help me out in tight situations before it became an oops.

When I was on his passenger side, I had no idea how close he was with the knuckle of his trailer to Tribe. Not til I got around there. Now if I started back around to the passenger side to get his attention, I would have been too late to save him from himself anyway.

Like I said, this thing was going to happen anyway. There's only so much you can do when a guy has his equipment in his own mirror and supposedly holds a professional CDL.

    Yup, @scottied67 the trendsetter!

Have a quick laugh and move on with your life, dude. I have my "duh" moments once in a while, and if I was getting filmed by a walkin talkin dashcam and being accused of doing drugs right in front of my face,...I honestly probably wouldnt anything, but the next person might.

Wow you just let everyone know you're into that sort of thing. That takes true guts to come out of the closet in a trucking forum. I say kudos to you sir.
