Just wondering if you can ever have the last laugh and really put it in somebody’s rear if you have them on video footage being one of those special clowns everybody comes across once or twice a year. The type that need a boot so far up their ### it would get lost in there. Or can they not really do anything about it since they can’t really prove who was driving even if the registered owner can be by the plate number?

Some woman in Ohio yesterday…reckless driving, unsafe lane change, then gives me the finger on top of it. Life tends to catch up to these types and have its was way with them. I get that, but I’da taken time out of my day to help that along if I’d have had a dash cam and knew somebody would take it seriously.

If its truely agregious say causing a wreck, running me off the road, illegally passing on the shoulder, throwing things at cars, hit am run, breaking crap, assaulting folks ect. Yea ill send it in. Doesnt help imo. But at least i tried.

Unless its some forgien owned thug company. They reward the drivers for that ####. Not even worth the data on the sd card.

I’ve sent in a video of a semi driver running me off the road and hitting me in the process in Colorado..the state patrol trooper whom i spoke to filing the report informed me he was going to go after that driver and “hit him with everything he could possibly hit him with”…whet it happened or not idk but having a dash cam of your own is worth every penny..

    You don’t have a dash cam ?

they are less than $200 for a good one .

worth its weight in gold if you get ina wreck that lokks like it’s your fault but isn’t or the other driver starts lying to the cops

Boy, I don't know, like peeing in a black suit, you get a warm feeling, but nobody notices. It may help you, and feel like you've made a difference, but it will do little good, there's 54,000 of them, that's a lot of videos. I heartily agree, these people get their due, they have to. If they are rude to you, it shows what kind of driver they are, you just don't see it, but it happens. We used to do that with the CB radio, cops usually monitored channel 9, and some would answer you, but was risky business. Just part of driving and always will be.

They have the Smartdrive camera system at Lynden, you just hit the green button on the dash and it saves a video, sends it right to safety and the bossman.I never had to do it for other bad drivers though,

I've done it to many company drivers over the years. I've also used it to help those in accidents I've recorded as well as to cover me when I've been struck. I have a Street Gaurdian that shows speed, time, date and GPS location. Worth every penny!
