I'd be down to do oil changes, greasing, washing, brakes etc but it'd be hourly rate. I wouldn't do it for free by any means.

My thinking is more a local company that does gravel/construction. Work all week and then come in for an hour or 2 on a Saturday to wash and grease the equipment.

Dispatch starts out the phone convo with: "You're the man if you can do this load...I know you can do it..."

When you show up to a live load and the forklift driver starts handing you a nail gun, wood blocks and cardboard. Dispatch didn't say anything about driver assist or any additional pay.

Every single time you show up as scheduled, even an hour early, to a live load/offload, and the first thing the warehouse clerk says is: "You're late!"

Someone had enough info to put in an online application in a guy I know's name. I think it was on Indeed or one of those. He didn't get any emails so they they give up his email address but he was getting phone calls for weeks.
I thought it was a little bit funny, but he didn't see any humor in it..

Anybody else ever get calls or emails from the recruiter of the company they are currently driving for?

After truck is in the Freightliner dealership for a week: "We couldn't find anything wrong with the def system after we did a regen so we just updated your software"

Multiply this by 4 and this is what happened to my truck over and over a couple months ago.

I think they finally fixed it though.
