Your favorite truck stop thread

1. Wild Wild West Truck Stop, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Geat place if you like Vegas! Plenty of Truck Parking, Good Rooms 35$/Night, Casino, Denny's Restaurant and walking distance to LV Blvd(the Strip). Especially nice if you need a break before going down I-15 to the traffic in LA..

2. La Haceinda Casino, Boulder City, Nevada, (Lake mead) near the Hoover Dam. Free Room for CDL Drivers, Huge Casino and Great Buffet!

3. Petro in Corning Ca....hot waitresses and sizzling hot steaks! nice and quiet in the Valley on I-5 down from Mt Shasta.

I want seafood. Whole crab-type seafood. Or at least crab legs in a buffet or something. Haven't even seen a truckstop with a Red Lobster within walking distance, yet.

Grand Island NE Bosselmans. A little bit of everything and something for everyone.

Little America WY I80 ex68. Same as above.

TTT Tuscon, AZ. Great food. And once when I was there, there was an airshow which I could watch from the parking lot. Very cool!

 

Wendover, NV ... The casino across the street has a seafood buffet on Friday nights ... you can have crabs legs until you puke.

 

Lee Hi I 81 in Va. Great food huge parking lot and always clean.

The "new" T/A Nasville, Tn. Top of the line remodel. If stuck here for the W/end short walk across the river for a smorgsaboard of night life.

 

How's that one for safety? I usually avoid downtown TA's.

 

I have never had any problems. Now its very well lit, and last night I watched a security service and local cop drive through countless times.

 

That downtown Nashville TA is also diesel only, no gas. The article I read in Roadking emphasized that they plan on taking safety and security very seriously.
