Swift has alot of trucks on the road we have all seen it what has been your best one? I am partial to Volvo's. I need to remember the good things about working for this company. So I would like to hear about you guy's and your Best trucks and experiences with swift. Also any good people you have met along the way my personal favorite is Panda at the PHX T-Call Window.

I Love my KW T700 except the turn radius need lots of room to do a uturn and some yards are just to small so I got to jack knife a nd back up and cut it hard

I havent had the chance to drive a Pete yet but have drove the rest

I really liked my kenworth 660 when i was there but it had its interior shortcomings.....had volvos and just so generic....trained on a 2008 freightliner....mmmmm..it was fine....so i got to say the prostar i been in for almost 3 years is my favorite....she's grown on me mightily!......:biggrin_25525:

Trained on a T2000 which I really hated but didn't even know how much til I got my company Volvo's which were a dream in comparison. 6 or so months after going solo I teamed up with my mentor on his T2000, long story short, it was a 3.5 week descent into hades where he didn't pay me fair and spent most of my waking time sales pitching me on taking over his truck payments and giving him $0.10 cents per mile for 'helping' me get into a lease truck I couldn't otherwise do on my own.

I got off his truck when we came home, Swift did to their credit agree to hire me back as a company driver, just at the time there was over week waiting period for an available truck. I called the recruiter inquiring about the truck that was parked out front, (the one I have now) and was turned down for the lease program. I called back the next day and they did decide to take a chance on me.

Anyway, all that to say I am in a 2010 T660, I hated it at first due to the very cramped interior but now after living in it for 2 solid years with my dog I have come to love it.

I love KW trucks. I drove a T2000 for awhile and also a T660..... I like the body style and interior of the T660 over the T2000.

Trucks I drove for Swift? I started with an International 9400i with a 51" sleeper.. old Merit truck. They were going to give me an FLD with a double bunk condo, but the truck reeked of piss. It was a bit lacking in space, but I liked the International. Then I got a Columbia which had ended up in Eden by accident. It had been used for the Rocky Mountain doubles, so it had more power (same 12.7 DD60, though) and a 13 speed. It was a pretty good truck.
Favorite truck I've ever driven... about a year ago on Craigslist, I answered an ad for a guy who had bought a truck and a manual detach RGN in Colorado, and needed it delivered to Texas, along with a front end loader he had also bought. The truck was a 97 Marmon with a 3406E Cat. That was a nice ride.

My favorite truck was whatever one I had at the time. I stopped counting when I reached 10 trucks in my first year. Between breakdowns and taking my truck away whenever I went home, I am just happy when I have something that runs decently.
