I don't remember that, but it's been a few years, and as I don't drive hazmat any more I don't have a copy of the red Bible in my truck.

HAZMAT sucks major ###.

I got a new one. 16 foot skid, 24 by 7-1/2 box. That was a fun load, especially when it shifted because this rental has limited tie down places.

That reminds me of a delivery where I had 2 big 12' long crates I had for a liftgate delivery, of all things. They weren't set up for a pallet jack to fit underneath, so I had to get creative in order to do so, then just muscle and slide them to the rear. The liftgate was then used as a fulcrum to tip it to the ground. Luckily, the receiver had a pallet jack and we were able to make it happen somehow. Took 1 hour to get it off. I was exhausted afterward.
MACK E-6 and road_runner Thank this. -
Bob Dobalina, Gearjammin' Penguin and MACK E-6 Thank this.

Our liftgates have aluminum extensions, and I've broken several of them doing exactly that.Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
Had a few times where the pallet was too long for the forklift. Dragged the freight out to the liftgate and the forklift operator and I brought it down to the ground in unison while using the liftgate. Kinda a cool trick

That can be sketchy if you have an inexperienced driver -
And I rock the pallet-stand every now and then if there's no liftgate--made a few forklift drivers' heads explode, but the freight got delivered and they all think I'm the God-Emperor of P&D!MACK E-6 and road_runner Thank this.
