"oh, we just ordered a load, we didn't know we had to order a QUANTITY"

AND after you go through the effort and count all those bits and pieces, doing your job, then they...the receiver puts a stamp on BOL that reads: "Subject to count and inspection" That makes me really infuriated, like a mad dog almost.

Are the skids in the front row normal size, or wider?

All normal, all palletts have the same stuff.

The loaders response "I thought there was going to be a second stop and I didn't want it to be overweight".

None of these loads are over 25k.

misterG and MACK E-6 Thank this.

LOL. Gotta love loaders who think that the next stop can't stretch out a load.

    A variant on that one.

Our engine techs don't work weekends. (When I needed an engine rebuild.)

Seriously. So many Freightliner shops run banker's hours for service work. Dozens of trucks in their yard waiting for work. Delays of several days sometimes before someone can even look at your truck. You'd think Freightliner might want to make money. You'd think that more young men and women might want to get into a decent paying job as a diesel mechanic.

How about "That P/U number shipped last week" or "that order was cancelled two weeks ago".
