1. US-522 South off Turnpike to U.S. 30 east
2. PA-75 South off Turnpike to U.S. 30 east
3. I-70 off Turnpike into Maryland, I-81 north to Chambersburg
Which one is the least hassle? I know there is a Mount Mfer on 30 East of McConnellsburg
Americold Chambersburg, PA best route coming east on I-76

Last time I went to Chambersburg I just took i70 north to US 30. You truing to avoid the mfer?

We'll be coming around when she comes, I have taken 30 around the mountain a few times. I hate the rip off pa turnpike when I'm paying the tolls. I would take 522 if you want to avoid my "nice" curves. All the best on your travels.

Take another look at the map. There's a big i76/i70/US30 interchange a few miles west of where i76 meets US 522. Might be more direct than your other choices.Last edited: May 6, 2021

There is a trailer length restriction on us 30 East between Breezewood and McConnellsburg.
That's why I brought up going further east to us 522, or simply taking 70 all the way into Maryland and coming back up 81NavigatorWife and slow.rider Thank this. -
Neither, exit blue mountain turn right and take 11 south after you go past letterkenny army Depot

This is days late bit you didn't try to take 30 east of breezeway I hope.....most direct is turnpike to Carlisle. Theres slightly cheaper routes but the start and stop, out of route miles, start and stopping on 30 its probably just as cheap and quicker to.stay on the tp.
slow.rider Thanks this.
