Just came thru here earlier this week...must have just missed it. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

The way I see it, I expect to get a complaint every now and then if the device doesn't like how I drive. It's a given that any automated safety gizmo is going to pick up some false positives. Onguard does it pretty regularly.
As long as Safety implements a policy that is flexible and takes into account machine errors due to real world conditions, I won't mind too much.
The lane guidance system is another example. If there is a shoulder, I tend to ride close to the outside edge of the road if I am in the rightmost or leftmost lane. Because of that, the lane guidance system tends to throw a fit at least once every fifteen minutes or so if I drift a couple extra inches towards the shoulder. Nobody from safety has called me about it yet.Lonesome, drvrtech77, gentleroger and 3 others Thank this. -

Walmart - Hermiston has some cajones. Load of animal feed, and based on my experiences with live unloads at WM D/C's, out of habit, I ask if everything came out o.k. Well, no, it was 5 pcs short. I asked what was short, she said it was seal intact and that's between Walmart and the shipper. I didn't argue, but went outside and did some math...I had 2 po#'s. One was signed with total cases received, and 5 short. The other was just signed, no piece count. I went back in and politely said that the piece count didn't add up to the total shipped (minus the 5 short), and said, nicely, my company is gonna ask me for the item numbers of the missing product. The other lady gruffed "I told you it was between Walmart and the shipper", yes, but my company needs to know as well...and they refused to tell me what was missing. So, I told OSD what she said, and if the company insisted I go back a third time, that we might not be invited back because she already threw an attitude at me...and I can throw one a lot worse back at her...OSD said she'd handle it...(and mumbled something about hating some walmarts under her breath)

These taters I picked up in Pasco must not have been stored in a temp controlled warehouse. I left Pasco, stopped once to wee-wee, and shut down in Ontario and the reefer has been running hard the whole time. The receiver wants them kept at 42° continuous mode...so far it has only gotten down to 52°, and has defrosted at least once. I sure hope when I get to KS I don't have a top layer of frozen potatoes on top of the rest that aren't cold enough.
mitrucker and Farmerbob1 Thank this.
